How does a heat trace controller work?
iTrace heat trace controllers can include the capability of communicating easily through a laptop so you can manage and view your settings throughout your entire trace system. Our panels can communicate with your centralized control system via Modbus or Allen-Bradley EtherNet/IP.
What is an at Heat Trace thermostat?
Heat Trace supply a range of stand alone and panel mounted, mechanical and electronic, temperature control and monitoring systems, for both safe and hazardous area use. AT-A Air Sensing Thermostat: The AT-A is a simple air sensing ON/OFF capillary thermostat, with an adjustable range of 0-40ºC.
How does the heat tracing algorithm work?
This algorithm monitors the temperature of the heating circuit and compares it to the CONTROL SETPOINT temperature. If the temperature of the control sensor is at or below the CONTROL SETPOINT temperature, power is applied to the trace with a duty cycle of 100%—the controller output is full on.
